Your TABS data stays on your computer.
TABSmate has no server that sees your projects. It works between you and TDLR, and keeps what it makes on your own disk.
Your projects
Letters, reports and forms are saved in the folder you choose. If it’s in your own cloud storage, your cloud service syncs it. Nothing from TABS is uploaded to us.

A saved TDLR sign-in is encrypted by Windows for your account, or kept in your Mac’s Keychain. It never comes to us.

Questions
Is TABSmate made by TDLR?
No. TABSmate is independent software. It is not made, approved or supported by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation or the State of Texas.
Does TABSmate submit anything to TDLR for me?
No. TABSmate prepares letters, reports, forms and email drafts. You check each one, then upload, sign or send it yourself, the same way you do now.
What happens when TDLR changes its website?
TDLR can change TABS at any time, and parts of TABSmate may stop working until they are updated. TDLR’s site itself keeps working inside TABSmate either way.
Do I need Outlook?
No. Email drafts open in Outlook or whichever mail app you use. If you use classic Outlook on Windows, you can choose drafts that open straight in it.
Who is a subscription for?
Each subscription covers one RAS number. TABSmate checks it when you sign in to TABS with your own TDLR account.
When can I try it?
Free trials start soon, first with a small group of RASs. Get release news and we’ll email you when you can try it.
How does the free trial work?
Sign up with your name, email and RAS number. No credit card is needed, and nothing is charged when the trial ends. If you want to keep going, you subscribe then.
